DUE TO HIGH WINDS, STRONG RIP CURRENTS AND
DANGEROUS OCEAN CONDITIONS
Hey LRO Ohana,
We are really bummed to share this — we've made the tough call to CANCEL Saturday's They Will Surf Again event in Virginia Beach. The surf is predicted to be too big, choppy and unruly from a large low pressure system and the conditions won't be safe for our surfers or volunteers.
But even though we won't be hitting the waves, Life Rolls On is STILLabout showing up, loving big, and celebrating the community we've built together. So we're pivoting and hosting a Friday night hangout — and we'd love to see you there.

(More parking available on 33rd St)
We'll have free food, cold beer, awesome new Life Rolls On merch for sale, and the best people around. Jesse will be hanging out by the merch area, so come say hi, meet new friends, and connect with the amazing crew that makes this all so special.
We know this isn't the weekend we had planned, but we're still going to celebrate Life — together.

You’ll be amazed who you meet at a Life Rolls On event. Heroic people navigating life with various disabilities, and heroic volunteers making freedom possible.

Bring your own wetsuit!
We supply the big stuff – adaptive surfboards and beach transfer wheelchairs. You supply your own gear – wetsuit, lifejacket (for athletes), fins (for deep water volunteers) and towels.
food
Lunch is on us!
We serve breakfast snacks, an awesome lunch, and water for registered athletes and volunteers.
