Bring your own wetsuit!
We supply the big stuff – adaptive surfboards and beach transfer wheelchairs. You supply your own gear – wetsuit, lifejacket (for athletes), fins (for deep water volunteers) and towels. If you don't own a wetsuit, please plan on renting one from a local surf shop.
Lunch is on us
We serve light breakfast snacks, an awesome lunch, and water throughout the day for registered athletes and volunteers.
Laugh 'til you cry. Leave with new best friends. And see that dreams really do come true.
Hey, I'm Jesse Billauer, the Founder of LRO, and I'm here to tell you ... you can do this! If you've never been to a Life Rolls On event, and you just want to see what it's all about, then join us on the beach. You'll meet amazing people and I promise you'll leave inspired.

We are dedicated to improving the quality of life for all living with spinal cord injuries and other disabilities. Through fellowship and community reintegration activity programs, we share knowledge and build confidence to show those affected with disabilities that a meaningful, productive life is still possible.
With a series of meetings and group challenges throughout the year, we spark members' faith in self so that it ignites into a bonfire of courage – and a beacon of light for the next person who needs it.
This is all thanks to the vision of our Founder and Executive Director, Christopher Salas. His dedication has helped hundreds of individuals adjust to life after spinal cord injury as well as educate hundreds of nurses and therapists on the do's and don'ts when it comes to treating those with spinal cord injuries. He has been recognized by United Way as San Antonio's Volunteer of the Year; by the Christopher Reeve Foundation as an official peer mentor; and inducted into Morgan Wonderland's "walk of fame."
