As summer approaches, bringing with it a fresh wave of enthusiasm, I want to share our gratitude and excitement about the remarkable journey we’ve had in New York. Together, we've created unforgettable moments, from catching the perfect waves at our surf events to mastering new tricks at the skate park. Your incredible energy and dedication have made every gathering a monumental success.
Celebrating a Decade of Success
It's been an absolute joy to see how adaptive sports have empowered so many. The relationships we've built and the triumphs we've celebrated together will always be cherished. These experiences are not just memories; they are milestones in our shared legacy of resilience and joy.
A Bright Future with New Opportunities
With enthusiasm and optimism, we are transitioning our focus to allow local initiatives like Wheeling Forward with their Play It Forward program to take center stage in New York. With that being said, our New York “They Will Surf Again” event on June 29 has been cancelled. While we're stepping into a new chapter, we're excited about what this means for the adaptive sports community. This isn't a step back; it's a leap forward, enabling more frequent and locally-led events that will continue to inspire and engage.
